Debt & Arrearage Management

In order to reduce and otherwise manage support debts and arrearages, the parents, including the public authority where arrearages have been assigned to the public authority, may agree to compromise on unpaid support debts or arrearages owed by one parent to another, whether or not the shortages are docketed as a judgment. A parent may agree or disagree to compromise only those on debts or arrearages that owed to that parent.
