A marriage will not be void solely on the basis that one of the parties was under the age of legal consent, if it appears that the spouses had voluntarily cohabited together as husband and wife after having attained the age of consent. See void marriages and voidable marriages for more information.
A marriage of an insane or incapacitated person will not be void after the person is restored to reason, if it appears to the court that the spouses freely cohabited together as husband and wife after the restoration of the previously incapacitated person.
